I went looking for idea for a fireplace because I really want a fireplace. My old house back in Missouri had one and I really miss it. My favorite picture below is the third one…it is a fireplace that is accessible from three sides.

I’d be happy with #1 or #3. Actually, I love that stone wall and the wooden beams in the room of #3, too.
Fireplaces are so nice and they have such beautiful ones now days. We have a pellet stove but it doesn’t add any ambiance at all. Before that we had a wood stove and I tell ya, after 5 years of cutting, hauling, and packing, wood, if I ever had fireplace, it would be gas or propane.
I love the one on the wall, very cool. Sometimes I wish I could have a fireplace, unfortunately Florida is just too hot for them.
